The Honda F20C is a 2.0L high-revving inline-4 engine, originally powering the Honda S2000. With an incredible 125 HP per liter, it held the power density record for 11 years (1999-2010). Featuring VTEC at 5,500 RPM, an 8,600 RPM redline, and a 24.6 m/s piston speed, the F20C remains one of the most advanced NA engines ever made. In 2004, Honda introduced the F22C1, increasing torque but lowering the redline to 8,200 RPM. Even today, the F20C is legendary for its high-revving nature and track-ready performance.
