  • FITMENT TYPE FOR JIFETOR FUEL INJECTION GAUGE: The car fuel pressure diagnostic test kit is suitable for most vehicles with gasoline/gas engine fuel injection pump system (except for Bosch, CIS Jetronic, Throttle Body Systems on GM vehicles), not for diesel high pressure injection pump or high pressure fuel track on direct-injection engine, due to the fuel gauge's low pressure range. Test fuel pressure is an essential part of the troubleshooting process of fuel injection system.
  • 3 CONNECTION TYPES FOR TU-113 FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE TOOL KIT: The set is equipped with various fittings and hoses to connect for testing. 14"L hose is used for hooking up directly to the 1/4" SAE standard Schrader valve on fuel pump, 11"L hose for the small Schrader valve (for some Ford), and 8"L hose for M6 fuel pressure test port. 1/4" barbed brass fittings is direct for special test outlet on engine, and aluminum tee splices in-line between the fuel pump and engine for most vehicles.
  • PRIMARY FUEL PRESSURE TEST KIT: Pressure gauge adopts rubber cover protected 2-3/4" large dial with 0-100psi/0-7bar range and dual color coded scale for easy reading. The hoses use rubber nylon resin material, and the build-in nylon can strengthen the hose with increased stress resistance. Please note, there is no pressure relief valve and drain hose, please wrap cloth around hose connection before relieving pressure from fuel line and removing testing components.
  • CHECK FUEL INJECTOR PUMP PRESSURE: The pressure gauge is designed for checking the fuel injection pump pressure easily and quickly. You can compare the pressure value to the manufacturer's recommended reference range, aid to diagnose gasoline engine fuel system. Low fuel pressure can be caused by kink/leak/clog on inlet supply side components, a bad fuel pump or fuel regulator, low tank pressure. High fuel pressure may caused by a defective fuel pressure regulator or kinked outlet return line.
  • SATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE: 30 days full refund with returned undamaged JIFETOR fuel injector tester set. Any quality related problem in 1 year, we will replace the fittings for free or refund. Any question, please feel free to contact us by email or amazon message system, we will reply ASAP in 24 hours. Please check if the kit fits for your vehicles or not before biding or as soon as receiving, if not, please return for full refund, or contact us for help if overtime.

NECESSARY FUEL OIL INJECTION PRESSURE TESTER TOOL

NECESSARY FUEL OIL INJECTION PRESSURE TESTER TOOL

    • Testing fuel pressure is an essential part of the troubleshooting process of fuel injection system. Proper fuel pressure is vital for engine operation and performance.
    • Too high fuel pressure can cause the engine to run too rich, incomplete combustion, excessive fuel consumption, increased carbon buildup, exhaust exceeding the standard.
    • And a low fuel pressure will lead to a lack of horsepower, stalling, and a slow or no-start condition.

    APPLICATION RANGE

Hook up fuel pressure test port directly

    1. Fuel injection pressure is less than 100PSI: perfect for most gasoline/gas engine fuel injection system (except for Bosch, CIS Jetronic, Throttle Body Systems on GM vehicles), not for diesel high pressure injection pump or direct-injection engine.

    2. Check if your vehicle's fuel pressure can be tested by one of following 3 connection styles:

Hook up fuel pressure test port directly

14"L long hose brass fittings is used for the 1/4" SAE standard schrader valve on the fuel rail or fuel pump. 11"L medium hose fittings is used for the small schrader valve (applicable to some Ford models), and the 8"L short hose for M6 fuel pressure test port.

    In-line connection

Aluminum tee with brass fittings allows to test the fuel pressure for most vehicles, by splicing in-line between the fuel pump and engine.

    Special test outlet connection

There is a 1/4" barbed brass fittings, and it can connect the pressure gauge directly to special test outlet on engine by the 1/4" cut small hose.

    NOTE

    • 1.Please wear gloves and goggles when use.
    • 2.These auto fuel oil engine diagnostic gauge injection pressure tester set should be used by professional or under the guidance of a professional.
    • 3.Always refer to equipment manufacturer's operation instruction, compare to the manufacturer's recommended readings.
    • 4.Before making connections and testing, place a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.
    • 5.Gasoline is highly flammable. Do not smoke, or test near open flames or a source of electrical sparks. Do not allow gasoline to come in contact with the hot manifolds or other engine components.
    • 6.Perform service in a well-ventilated, outdoor location. Not only are gasoline fumes flammable, but carbon monoxide is produced by a running engine. This is a deadly gas that you cannot see or smell.
    • 7.Make sure all connections are tight to avoid fuel leaks. Or use PTFE tape if needed.
    • 8.There is no pressure release valve and drain hose, please wrap cloth around hose connection before relieving pressure from fuel line and removing testing components.
