These booster cables are surge protecting, which stop any damage from connecting the leads up incorrectly or forming spikes when the leads are first connected.

Instructions:

1. Check both batteries are same voltage (ie 12v or 24v) and insure both vehicles are not in contact at any point.
2. Start engine of donor vehicle
3. Connect one RED lead to positive (+) of flat battery and the other RED end to positive (+) of donor vehicle.  
4. Connect BLACK clamp to negative (-) of the flat battery and other BLACK end to negative (-) terminal or suitable ‘EARTH’ point on vehicle.
5. Ensure vehicle is not in gear and handbrake is applied before starting the engine.
6. Once the engine has been started, keep running and remove clamps in the reverse order. Starting with the BLACK clamp.
