✨ Come and see why we’re more than just a shop—we’re a place of endless possibilities!

🟠 First reason: Price
From the first generation, the Fit was slightly pricey (¥110,000–120,000), but prices have dropped significantly with each version.
Even with reduced features, getting a joint venture car for ¥70,000 is simply irresistible! 💸

🟠 Second reason: Practicality
Though the Fit is a B-segment compact car 🚗, its interior space is amazingly spacious—thanks to Honda’s clever engineering! 🧠
And let’s not forget the Magic Seats, which turn the Fit into a part-time cargo van. 📦

🔍 The Honda Logo is where the Fit’s roots lie. It branched from the second-gen City, available in both 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks.
However, due to lower practicality, the Logo wasn’t very successful.

🛠️ Yet, the third reason for Fit’s popularity is: Fun to modify! 🧰
From the start, the Fit has had enormous customization potential. Aftermarket parts are everywhere 🌐—domestic and international brands love it.
With the arrival of the L15B2 Earth Dreams engine, the Fit earned its funny nickname: “Supercar”. 😄

So naturally, this iconic little car has plenty of stories. And what better way to tell them than to start from the roots?

📜 The Fit’s engine heritage comes from the D13B, improved from the Civic.
It’s a 1.3L SOHC engine, switching from carburetor to electronic injection, with torque-focused 8-valve and sporty 16-valve versions.

🧬 The Fit’s ancestry line:
Civic → City → Logo → Fit.
The Logo was born in 1996, lasted one generation, and was eventually replaced by the Fit.

🔧 Chassis Codes:

  • City: GA1, GA2

  • Logo: GA3, GA5

  • Capa: GA4, GA6

📸 The Logo Sportic featured a 16-valve version of D13B (91HP), 3-spoke steering wheel, and sportier design touches.
Despite all this, the Logo didn’t resonate with the market and was discontinued in 2001.

✨ The baton was then passed to the Fit, redesigned but still compact, practical, and much more successful.
We'll continue the Fit's story in upcoming posts—stay tuned!
