Manual, DCT, and CVT transmissions: change oil every 40,000 km (24,800 miles).
AT transmissions: recommended every 70,000 km (43,500 miles).
Different transmission types require different oils, so make sure you’re using the right one! For example, manual transmissions typically need 75W90 oil. But if you've installed an LSD, you'll need a specialized oil. 🛢️

Changing Transmission Oil for Different Setups
For manual transmissions, simply remove the drain plug to release old oil, then refill until it slightly overflows from the fill hole. 🧰 For automatic transmissions, Xiao Si recommends using a circulating machine to replace all old oil. This method helps flush out metal shavings and residue left behind, ensuring a thorough clean.

Pro Tips for Better Transmission Care

Replace the drain plug with a magnetic one to catch metal shavings more effectively.
RedLine MT90 oil is suitable for standard setups, while Torco RTF oil works well for LSD setups.
